Cecile graduated from the prestigious Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood with an emphasis in Directing and a minor in both Producing and Screenwriting. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.
As a director and producer, Cecile is a perfect mix of business acumen and overflowing creativity. Cecile’s producing credits include a kids’ superhero film called, Dognapped, starring Nickelodean’s Every Witch Way, Paris Smith; an award winning science fiction film called, Displacement, starring Courtney Hope, Bruce Davidson, Susan Blakely, and Sarah Douglas; and a family film, The Bandit Hound, starring Lou Ferrigno, Judd Nelson and Catherine Bell. Her most recent producing credit is the horror/thriller entitled, Asomatous, starring Kevin Sorbo, Rena Owen, and Isabella Kai Rice which is set to be released in limited theaters in 2018 by Majer Filmwerks. She is currently in pre-production on two feature films: Peril of a Godsend, a political thriller and the horror/action film, The Gloaming. Both films are set to shoot back to back starting April 2018.
Prior to producing the above feature films, Cecile honed her filmmaking craft in short films such as Spoken Word with Jason London, Grit with Casper Van Dien, Angel Face with international singer/actress, Patricia Javier and many more. She worked side by side with other filmmakers as 1st Assistant Director in various independent feature films.
With a burning passion for story-telling, Cecile’s go-getter attitude resulted in the formation of Global Edge Pictures in 2014 with plans to produce 3 to 4 feature films per year.
Shar is an actress, film festival director, and producer. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later raised in Chicago, Shar developed a love for the entertainment industry at an early age.
Shar graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Therapy. She studied acting at Act One Studios and has taken private acting lessons throughout the years. Shar was the director of the Beverly Hills Film Festival for seven years and began producing films shortly thereafter. She met with various actors, writers, producers, and directors as she reviewed screenplays for the festival and introduced them during their screenings at the festival in Beverly Hills, California at the Clarity Theatre.
Shar’s producing credits include the faith-based film, Revelations, starring Eric Roberts, Grit starring Casper Van Dien, This Modern Man is Beat starring Jordi Vilasuso in which won 66 wins and 39 nominations, and The Look starring Michelle Romano where Shar has won a nomination.
In 2014, Shar joined Global Edge Pictures and continues to be a liaison for independent filmmakers, screenwriters and producers in order to bring projects together so that they could be developed to their fullest potential. She is also a strong child advocate for abused children in foster care. Along with her producing partner, Shar is busy with pre-production on both feature films, Peril of a Godsend and The Gloaming plus a slate of films currently in various stages of development.
